1.Information we collect
In providing the Service, we may obtain the following information.
- Account information: when you choose to log in, your email address, display name, profile image, etc. The Service can also be used with an anonymous ID without registration, and on login your data is linked to that account.
- Study data: study sessions (tracked time), flashcards and tags, review history, goals and streaks, to-dos, and other information you create or record in the app.
- Payment-related information: when you use Premium, your subscription status and plan, and customer/transaction identifiers from RevenueCat and payment providers (Apple, Stripe, etc.); the handling of credit card numbers and the like is as described in Article 3.
- Log & device information: operation history, error logs, access timestamps, information about your browser and device, and identifiers stored in cookies / local storage.
2.Purposes of use
- Providing, maintaining and improving the Service, and developing new features
- Storing study data and syncing it across multiple devices
- Providing the Premium plan and managing billing and subscription status
- Responding to inquiries and sending important notices
- Preventing abuse and maintaining security
3.Handling of payment information
Payment for the Premium plan uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) as the billing platform, and is processed via Apple in the iOS app (App Store) and via the payment processor Stripe (Stripe, Inc.) on the web.
4.Use of external services
The Service uses the following external services to provide its features, and each may collect information independently. For details, please review each company's privacy policy.
- Firebase (Google LLC): authentication, database, file storage (study data, profile images, etc.).
- RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.): managing the subscription and billing status of the Premium plan.
- Apple (Apple Inc.): payment processing for the Premium plan in the iOS app (App Store).
- Stripe (Stripe, Inc.): payment processing for the Premium plan on the web.
5.Third-party provision
Except as required by law or with the consent of the individual, we do not provide the information we obtain to third parties. Provision to the external services in the preceding article is limited to the scope necessary to provide the Service's features.
6.Management & storage of information
The information we obtain is stored on Firebase under appropriate access controls. Each user can access only their own data, and payment-related information is updated only on the server side and protected so that it cannot be altered from the client. After the purpose of use is achieved, we process it appropriately in accordance with the law.
7.Cookies & local storage
The Service uses cookies and local storage to maintain login state and improve the user experience. You can refuse to accept these in your browser settings, but in that case some features may not work properly.
8.Disclosure, correction & deletion
If a user requests disclosure, correction, or deletion of their own information, we will respond promptly within a reasonable scope after verifying identity. Deleting your account from the in-app account settings also deletes the related study data. For other requests, please reach out via Contact.
9.Disclaimer
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the Service's content or the information provided.
- We bear no responsibility whatsoever for damage arising from use of the Service.
- The same applies to damage arising from failures of external services (Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple, Stripe, etc.).
- We are not responsible for the content of external sites linked from the Service.
- We may change, suspend, or end the Service's content without prior notice.
10.Revisions
The content of this Policy may be revised as necessary. For significant changes, we will give notice by appropriate means. Please also review the Terms of Service and the Notation based on the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.
